CAN Community Health’s World AIDS Day Concert 2026 | Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Featuring Clay Aiken Special Opening Performance by André De Shields Music Directed by Seth Rudetsky

Join CAN Community Health for an extraordinary evening of music, remembrance, and community as the Second Annual World AIDS Day Concert returns to Fort Lauderdale.

Set beneath the South Florida sky at Las Olas Oceanside Park , this special concert brings together acclaimed artists, advocates, and our community to honor the lives affected by HIV, remember those we have lost to AIDS-related illnesses, celebrate the extraordinary progress made over the past 35 years, and renew our commitment to ending the HIV epidemic.

Headlining the evening is acclaimed recording artist, actor, Broadway performer, and advocate Clay Aiken, bringing his unmistakable voice and powerful stage presence to this meaningful celebration.

The evening will open with a special performance by legendary Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winner André De Shields. One of American theater’s most celebrated performers, De Shields brings decades of artistry, storytelling, and an extraordinary spirit to the World AIDS Day stage.

Bringing it all together is Seth Rudetsky, acclaimed Broadway musician, actor, author, and SiriusXM Radio Broadway host, who will serve as the evening’s Music Director.

Presented during CAN Community Health’s 35th anniversary year, the concert is more than a night of incredible entertainment. It is an opportunity to come together as a community—to remember, to celebrate, and to recognize that the work continues.

World AIDS Day is observed around the globe as a time to increase awareness about HIV, challenge stigma and discrimination, encourage testing and prevention, and affirm that people living with HIV deserve equitable access to compassionate, high-quality care.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Susan Terry Foundation, continuing the legacy of CAN Community Health founder Susan Terry by supporting organizations and initiatives that improve health, advance dignity, and strengthen communities.

Produced in partnership with Gray Box Theater and HarmonyWaves.

Come experience an unforgettable evening where music meets mission—as South Florida gathers to remember those we have lost, celebrate those living and thriving with HIV, and look toward a future filled with hope, dignity, and the possibility of ending the HIV epidemic.
