If you eat out around Delray Beach, here's one to know. Inspectors closed Taco Tuesdays Taqueria, 600 N. Congress Ave., Suite 110, on Oct. 29. A complaint inspection found about seven live roaches under the triple sink, prep shelving and a chest freezer. Boca Post reports seven Palm Beach and Broward restaurants were closed the week of Oct. 26, and every closure traced back to pests. State records show all seven were cleared to reopen within two days.

Three of the seven closed restaurants had earlier citations

  • Also closed: Belle Glade, Pembroke Pines, Oakland Park

An is not a disciplinary action. It's a temporary step inspectors take when conditions pose an elevated risk, and the business stays closed until they're corrected. The Boca Raton Tribune also posted the state's list of emergency closures for Palm Beach County restaurants.
