Floodwaters reached waist-high in some areas, and a State of Local Emergency has been declared. Nico Porcelli of the National Weather Service in Miami said the stretch from the airport to Palm Beach Gardens got about 18 to 19 inches in three days.

In Boca Raton, the city reports high water in several spots. Standing water also hit parts of other major roads. Can't see the bottom of the water? Don't drive through it.

  • High water: NW 2nd Ave. at NW 28th and NW 35th streets
  • High water: multiple spots along Dixie Highway
  • Sporadic high water: Yamato, Lyons, Clint Moore and Glades roads

Special thanks to the honest person who found my wallet at Publix and returned it to Kings Point.

“It was fine that they kept the cash. Returning my bank cards and drivers license was most important to me. That was my favorite wallet of all time and it is safe at home, now holding my (new) bank cards.”
